I was not too bothered about RAFW (Rosemount Australian Fashion Week) as as much as Australian design is not the rise (etc etc blah blah blah), its just not there with London, Milan, Paris, NYC etc. But the thing is, Australians know that.
It doesn't overwhelm the city, like London does, it seems more like a village and the schedule is not exhaustive. It just does Fashion Week in the Australian way... not OTT, kinda chilled, quite happy to see what happens organically.... which, actually, seems a lot more digestible.
